Back From Budapest

Wow, what a hot time… literally as well as figuratively. The classes with Professor Fekete were awesome as always, and so was the heat and humidity. Best part was a short boat ride on the Danube; which passes through the heart of this lovely city.

Unlike my last visit here, the system is much improved; lots of buildings have been and are being renovated, the city is regaining some of its pre world war one beauty. Vienna, eat your heart out!

I am pleased to announce that I have been co opted to be the new president of The Gold Standard Institute… what am I in for now? Busy enough without this… but no complaints, sales of Beyond Mises are picking up as well.

Short post, I will be back with more soon. For now, remember; buy Gold and Silver, sleep better!

PS; you may want to visit my new web site, http://www.monetarydebasement.com

It is under construction, but soon will have reviews, and a store for neat stuff… like a Carl Menger Tee-shirt(!??)

About Rudy Fritsch

I was born in Hungary in 1947, and fled Socialist tyranny during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. My family had lived through WWII and the consequent Hungarian hyperinflation, thus I have intimate experience with financial destruction. My Dad used Gold to buy our way out of Hungary. Paper money was as good as toilet paper. Later in life, during my studies of Austrian economics, I came to realize that only Gold could solve the Global Financial Crisis (which should be called the Global Monetary Crisis), just as Gold solved our otherwise insoluble problem of getting out of Communist Hungary.
