The Proof is in the Pudding

Wow, I just got the first (proof) print of Beyond Mises from the printer… and the book looks nice. I found a few minor typos, and I found that I had forgotten to include the Appendix (!)

These problems have now been rectified, and Anthony is uploading the revised file to Lightningsource for printing of the fist batch. As I am off to Budapest next week to lecture at the inaugural session of The New Austrian School of Economics, I may have to ship the batch of books directly to Budapest. Those who have indicated an interest in the book will be able to place their orders even if I am in Hungary.

The http://www.BeyondMises.com web site is now partially active… the ‘buy book’ button should be active in a matter of days. Payments will be enabled through Paypal. I will personally sign the first 100 copies… thrilling, no? Also, the pre-pub special 20% discount will be over once the first batch ships… so get your order in soon.

About Rudy Fritsch

I was born in Hungary in 1947, and fled Socialist tyranny during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. My family had lived through WWII and the consequent Hungarian hyperinflation, thus I have intimate experience with financial destruction. My Dad used Gold to buy our way out of Hungary. Paper money was as good as toilet paper. Later in life, during my studies of Austrian economics, I came to realize that only Gold could solve the Global Financial Crisis (which should be called the Global Monetary Crisis), just as Gold solved our otherwise insoluble problem of getting out of Communist Hungary.
